Ultra Joint features eicosatetraenoic acids derived from New
Zealand Green Lipped Mussels (Perna canaliculus), which also contain
glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), the principle component of cartilage
and synovial fluid found in the joints. These fatty acids may promote
anti-inflammatory activity and aid in the reduction of joint swelling.
Hyaluronic Acid, an antioxidant that supports resiliency of body
tissues and protects against repetitive wear and tear, is also included
in this formula. In addition to Glucosamine, Chondroitin Sulfate,
and MSM, Ultra Joint features vitamin C for the maintenance
of collagen, as well as manganese, which has been shown to aid in
the growth and development of normal bone and in the formation of
mucopolysaccharides.
